Cooking Classes

Kid Foodies (ages 6-10):

Join us on a culinary adventure in our Kids Foodie Class! Your child will chop, grate, mix, measure, and roll their way to success as we explore new foods together. Each week we will mix it up as we create dishes from different food categories such as breads, desserts, main dishes, breakfasts, salads and soups. We will also explore other cultures by taking a week each month where we make a dish from another country. Your child will progress naturally as we explore new recipes together! We have exciting events and themes planned for each month of class, and can’t wait to share them with you. Here’s some of the things we have planned:

September: Welcome to cooking class! We will be making some fun recipes while learning basic skills to prepare us for the months to come.

October: Comfort food at it’s finest! We will whip up some hearty fall recipes and a spooky Halloween dish!

November: Each week we will focus on a Thanksgiving dish. Before you know it, you’re child will be able to cook the meal!

December: What’s better than holiday cooking? We’re going to have so much fun making and decorating gingerbread houses, and your child will get to show off their masterpieces at our Holiday Openhouse this month.

January: We’re going to beat those winter blues with fresh recipes that will help us get out of that winter funk!

February: This month is all about love, and we LOVE cooking! We’re going to share the love with a Valentine cookie exchange!

March: Think green! St. Patrick’s Day will be a lot tastier as we create dishes using every color of the rainbow!

April: Time to show off! We know you will love our Showcase Night this month where your child will make a special dish to share with you demonstrating all of the new skills they have learned.

May: We will be making fun, fresh recipes to kick off summer and whipping up a special Mother’s Day dessert.

This class has a monthly fee of $65. Payment is due the 25th of the prior month. A $10 late fee will be assessed for payment made after that date. We require two weeks notice if you need to drop a class or you will be charged for the following month.  A $5 tuition discount is applied for families with children in multiple classes or for families with multiple children in a class.

Tot’s Table (ages 3-6):

Tots can cook too! Tot’s Table is our cooking class for some of our smallest friends. Your little foodie will cook up all sorts of fun recipes with us while you enjoy an hour to yourself! They will learn to safely roll, grate, pat, mix, and spread. You will be amazed at what your budding chef will eat when they make food themselves. Your child will experience cooking using all 5 senses, especially taste as we enjoy dishes we make together.

Class sizes are limited so don’t wait! We do require your tot to be completely potty trained to join us at Tot’s Table. This class has a monthly cost of $65 due on or before the 25th of the month prior to class starting.

T(w)een Foodies (ages 11-15):

Your t(w)een will blossom with confidence as they learn the life skill of cooking in the kitchen! Our T(w)een Foodie class will teach them basic to advanced cooking techniques as well as kitchen safety, following a recipe, and our favorite kitchen tips and tricks. Each week we will mix it up as we create dishes from different food categories such as breads, desserts, main dishes, breakfasts, salads, and soups. Skills will progress and build naturally while we create beautiful dishes together. Not only will your t(w)een connect with food, but they will connect and build friendships with other aspiring chefs. Each month we will take a week where we learn to make a dish from another country, as well as many other exciting events and themes planned monthly. We can’t wait to share them with you!
