“Art is a place for children to trust their ideas, themselves, and to explore what is possible.”
– Maryann F. Kohl
This class is ideal for kids who want to experience art in many different mediums. Your child will have the opportunity to create using watercolor, pencil sketching, and acrylic painting and other mediums. Your little artist’s confidence, creativity, and talents will develop as they try new things and continue practice on mediums they may be familiar with. Our experienced teachers will encourage and build your child up as they learn and grow. Can’t wait to create with you!

1) When signing up for our Fall/Spring session please note, we require a 2 week notice when dropping a class.
2) No classes the week of Thanksgiving, the last 2 weeks of December for Christmas Break, and Spring break. Enjoy this time with your family!
3) There will not be makeup classes offered or refunds for missed classes. If for some reason we need to cancel a class, we will offer makeup classes or issue a refund.
4) How are we handling COVID? First and foremost, we ask that you please stay home if you are sick. We are requiring students and teachers to wear masks during classes for right now. Please wear a mask to each class. If you forget, we have extras! We sanitize between classes and we are asking each student to purchase their own Busy Bee Apron and bring it with them each week. Cost is $10 and we will have this for them their first week of class. If they already have one from attending a camp, or Summer class, that is great and we will waive the apron fee when you register! (Just shoot us a message)
It’s definitely a crazy time…But this doesn’t mean that we are letting that stop us from learning and having A LOT of fun!!
My name is Raigen Barber!
I love to snowboard, play soccer, and go boating! My favorite mediums of art to work with are acrylic and watercolor painting. I’ve done art since I was little and have taken classes in school every year since 7th grade. I also do ceramics and am so excited to be teaching at Busy Bee!
